Easy to set up and works reasonably well

A true small business owner is writing this review. I hope to help others as there are many 1 and 2 star reviews for scanners everywhere. I run a real estate agency and we have to scan receipts on a monthly basis. My HP laser printer/scanner finally stopped scanning through the ADF (still printing fine) so I decided to buy a dedicated scanner rather than trying to fix my $150+ HP multi-page scan feature. My research came down to this ADS-2700. Auto and 1600 Fujitsu. I chose Brothers as they looked like a simplified version of Fujitsu that had more bells and whistles with their software (which I don't need). My scanning requirements are simple as I scan several hundred 8 1/2 x 11 sheets at the end of each month. The Brothers machine was easy to set up with my Wi-Fi and I had it scanned within 25 minutes. I didn't need the USB cable recommended in the instructions. I just connected the scanner to my wifi using a Dell laptop. It required a few extra steps within the remote setup feature to set up a preferred scan folder (much easier than HP's initial setup), but for those looking for a basic scanner at a slightly affordable price this seems to fit the bill be. I didn't need technical support so I left this feedback section blank. The touch screen is small but big enough for my needs. Once the machine is set up, I just hit the quick scan button, so the size of the touchscreen doesn't matter. The machine is compact and stands well on a shelf by the table. I'll let you know if the machine breaks down or gives me a headache, but at this point '
