These speakers sound great for the price. But after about five years, the plastic clasps and ring become very brittle and fall apart. Fragile, like fragile chalk. I installed 8 of these around the house, they are protected from the weather and sun. The formula of the plastic should react with the oxygen in the air or something like that. If they're in your blanket, they'll fall out. I contacted the manufacturer to see if I could purchase replacement brackets and rings (they attach to the speakers with four screws) but they told me no. Too bad because the speakers themselves are still good. If you plan on having them for five years or less, this is a good buy. If longer, find something else.
