Basically I got this board because it was one of the few that had yellow gats in it and I was dying to try yellow gats. I've had two other mechanical keyboards, the first was a drevo tkl with Outemu browns (well, I know), the second was a Magicforce Crystal 108 with black Gaterons (and while they were decent, they were too heavy for me). as I always skip when typing) and finally this. I LOVE the yellow gats and personally from what I've tried with some other cherry switches I have to say that in my personal opinion the Gateron switches are much better; just so much fewer scratches. In any case, this keyboard is equipped with blindingly bright LEDs, so keep that in mind. I never use the side LEDs and leave them solid at a brightness setting of 66%, but to be honest I've never been too crazy about RGB and that wasn't the reason I bought this particular keyboard. So if you're one of those who love rgb thanks, this keyboard will be the last place you'll ever need to look, other than maybe new stabilizers if you're a keyboard enthusiast like me. Ah yes, stabilizers. For a budget keyboard, the stabilizers are surprisingly ok, about mediocre. Again, if you're not an enthusiast this probably won't make much of a difference to you, but if you're an enthusiast it's pretty easy to know that any budget keyboard, custom made or not, should be bought with new Beats. This is no exception. But if you insist that these strokes work, be careful with the decision to patch mod, as these strokes aren't as loose as most other keyboards, so you may need a thinner solution or end up making them too tight . Some other things to watch out for before this gets too long: - The caps are really strong and good quality, especially for ABS. They just look like PBT. Make sure you know this keyboard has south-facing LEDs if you plan on getting special translucent keycaps. So if you point them north, you can get dimmer illumination. .- No downloadable custom RGB control software. It is controlled on board. - Legs are not adjustable. - PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE grease switches. Especially if you get a yellow gat. You sound AMAZING after the lube. You won't regret it for a second. All in all, a surprisingly high-quality keyboard. Also, Banggood sells it for $66, but I'm impatient so I was willing to pay extra to get it sooner.
