Review on 🔬 ESSLNB Microscope for Adults Students 2000X Binocular Compound Microscope: Enhanced Viewing with Phone Adapter and X-Y Mechanical Stage by Monty Barganier

I got this to research collectible coins and paper money. On the plus side, it's relatively easy to set up and allows you to zoom in on objects quite well. However, as a microscope I have some problems with it. First, the images provided are not as high quality as the images above. They're heavily dependent on lighting, and even with the best lighting, everything looks pretty grainy. The zoom mechanism does not inspire confidence. It appears to be very thin and was relatively difficult to assemble properly. The biggest issue for me is the quality of the lens - the image doesn't maintain the same focus throughout the frame. Of course, many miniature-lens smartphone cameras have similar problems, but not to this extent (smartphones tend to lose focus in the corners). It almost goes so far that the date on the coin has the first two digits in focus and the last two digits outside. It requires constant turning to see what you're looking for, and as mentioned above, I don't want to turn the focus knob too much. Overall, it gives the impression of a very cheap product. It's an interesting novelty and has some utility, but I don't think its performance justifies the current price.
