I did not convince the children, and the elastic at the waist twists a lot after washing.
These are not my kids favorite shorts. Kid Nation tends to run smaller so I increased the size. Although they are too big now. Besides that, they don't particularly like her. My 8 year old usually loves Kid Nation stuff so I was a little surprised he didn't like it. He said he didn't really like the way she looked. He also said they're a little comfortable, but not by much. The waistband doesn't gather well either. They seem soft enough and they have pockets which is nice but unfortunately they didn't win over my kids.
