Bought 2 different switches to convert a Dell case to an updated system. The switch on the case does not work with other motherboards. This switch was perfect. That works great. It has a long cable and a slot covered with a slit so the cable can be secured while still staying 2.5 feet (76.2 cm) from the back of the case. Since I'm using a mATX board, I secured the inside of the cable with a zip tie to keep it from touching the RAM (2666MHz gets hot). When the computer is off, the indicator on the switch/button is off, in standby mode it flashes slowly, the button changes color and flashes at a variable rate to indicate how busy your system is.
