I liked this tinsel. It's thicker and stiffer than the thin Mylar material that's commercially available. It hangs pretty straight. The tinsel is attached to the edge in one piece, so it needs to be cut off to hang. I noticed some people complaining about this but I actually thought it was a plus. I don't use a lot of tinsel on my tree and this pack will last at least 2-3 seasons. The fact that it's attached at one end made it a lot easier to pack up the leftover tinsel that I didn't use this year for next year. Then again, contrary to the description on the box, it doesn't look like the old-fashioned lead tinsel we used to have when I was a kid. It doesn't have the weight or texture that tinsel had. However, it is a good alternative to what else is available. It's a little pricey compared to store bought stuff, but since the package has enough for 2-3 years, it wasn't a deal breaker for me.
