There are two very similar devices on the market: D-Link DUB-1312/B1A and TP-Link TP-LINK UE300. Both are connected via USB 2 or USB 3, both have a Realtek RTL8153 chip inside. And the price is about the same. MAC addresses correspond to vendors. Everything said here applies equally to both adapters - D-Link and TP-Link. For maximum performance, carefully watch which ports you plug devices into. Even plugging the adapter into a USB 2 port, the network connection will show 1Gbps, although the data transfer rate will be limited by the USB 2 bandwidth.
