I had bout my 1st pair of these shoes about a year ago and mistakenly ordered a 9.5. I’m a size 7.5. But I put an insert into it and it works great. I only use it in the house. We have wood laminate flooring and my feet ache if I use flip flops these days. Since these were so comfortable, I ordered a size 8 recently and used my inserts (again, I’m a 7.5). These are the best and most comfortable shoes I’ve ever bought. I spent a lot of money on shoes when I was working and on my feet a lot. A clerk in an athletic shoe store had told me I should buy my shoes a 1/2 size larger and use an insert, so he actually sold me my 1st comfortable pair of shoes. So I guess that’s the secret. 1/2 size larger for me when it comes to any athletic shoes. I’ll be buying another size 8, but with laces, to use for walking the neighborhood. My feet do slip out the back part a little without socks, and again, while walking in the house. But no slpping with socks on. I just tried it :).
