The product is terrible, I wonder why it has so many good reviews. (or maybe mine isn't working well). We stick it in the wall, charge it up, it starts hissing, I taste it with the palm of my hand and think "ok, suction pressure on the grate” BUT when I screw it to the bags. it does nothing. The air came out so LOW that I ended up grabbing 2 bags while it was still sucking in air and it ended up being nowhere near airtight. I had to pump the air out myself. Terrible product, good size and all, but bleeding the air out of the pockets just doesn't work. TO UPDATE. After my terrible review, a friend told me to try a more powerful wall adapter (not the one I had at home at the time) and it works as expected. The small vacuum cleaner sucked the whole bag tight. After connecting to a more powerful USB, it works.
