Review on Olacia Leggings: Women'S High Waisted Tummy Control Workout Leggings With Pockets by Kevin Ayala

Not quite as slimming as hoped, but a tight waistband

Overall, I like the pants. I love the color (the green one), and the pockets, and they feel very well-made, with a not too heavy but not too light fabric. I ordered a medium, and the pants fit me just snugly enough, the way I like them. They're not so tight that the seams leave marks in my skin when I take them off, but not so loose that they wrinkle up around my knees as I walk. I only have two minor complaints. One is that I expected them to be just a little more compressing throughout the abdomen, and the other is that the waistband itself (the very top edge) feels like the elastic is already almost stretched to its limit when I pull them up, and there isn't very much give to it. So I really have to ease them on carefully over my hips so I don't rip the stitching, and then that part right at the top edge starts cutting into my mushy middle after awhile. It's fine if the waistband stays pulled up high, just under my ribcage, because that's the narrowest part of my middle (not my actual waistline, sadly.), but if it does slip down lower, then I feel it. Fortunately, the waistband is high enough (another plus for the pants), or I'm short enough that it stays up there under my ribcage most of the time.
