Review on ๐Ÿ† Premium Leopardd Mens Bifold Wallet with RFID Blocking by Jake Hill

Good wallet for blocking the RFID signal

The wallet is new and I've been using it for about a week. So let's take a look. PROS: RFID Protection - Tested 6ft from the surface of the wallet and cannot scan cards with RFID chips on them. Decent overall construction and decent sized pockets that are neither too big nor too small for ID and credit/debit cards. Good quality, smooth leather and plenty of pockets and compartments for all your cards, cash and other things that people keep in their wallets. CONS: - Quality control. The adhesive holding the leather tab under the plastic window in the driver's license/ID card pocket peels away easily after just pulling the ID card out once. Better would be a stronger glue or stitching through the plastic. I put some clear silicone on it and let it sit for 24 hours while going back to my old wallet. Problem solved, but for a brand new wallet of this value I didn't have to. It crackles a bit when you open the wallet's folds, but that's unavoidable as the inner layer (probably nickel-impregnated nylon) is used to prevent the RFID chips from being scanned. So not really a minus, but a bit annoying. It's like opening a wallet with Velcro, but on a more subtle scale. JURY STILL QUESTIONS: If stitches hold up over time. Apparently machine stitched, but there are no double stitches anywhere. We'll have to wait and see if the inner lining will come loose with normal use, as it usually does with most wallets. INITIAL RATING: Based on first impressions and usage, a decent wallet that offers excellent RFID protection. Not a designer wallet by any means, but it gets the job done and is good enough if you're looking for a decent wallet to secure your RFID cards. ------------ UPDATE - 17 AUGUST 2016 - --------------- Well it's been over a year and this wallet still looks almost brand new out and in good condition. The inner lining looks just as good as it did at first. The seams have held up well and the RFID protection is still as good as it was in the first test. The personal support from this seller is excellent.
