Review on YesWelder Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet with Powered Features by Todd Mamat

I bought this helmet because of the cheap price. I was welding a pipe fence around our property and needed a different helmet. I'm not too picky about wearing comfort, after all it's a welding helmet. If I welded more often it would be a problem as it's not the most comfortable. My reason for the rating is that this helmet is very sensitive which was very annoying when trying to weld outside on a sunny day. The glass would automatically darken and turn off before I even started welding. I think because it was so bright outside it was getting darker and darker, but it happened no matter which way I looked. So does this helmet work? Sure, but I'd suggest spending the extra cash on a helmet that won't make you want to bang it across the pasture.
