I love Vera Bradley bags and have had them for years. This particular bag is solid color, a very pretty muted blue, and is made from recycled fabrics, which is great. However, I don't like some redesigned features. First, the handy gusset feature at the bottom of most Vera Bradley bags is great. This means the bags sit upright when you put them down. The kit includes a piece of fabric-covered cardboard to make this useful feature a reality. The lack of a gusset and straight seam at the bottom of this bag is a minus for me. I like when things fit right and it's disappointing to omit that feature. The strap is long enough to be worn over the shoulder, which is great in these dangerous times we live in, but it allows the bag to hang fairly low on the waist when simply slung over the shoulder, to see to go to the supermarket. Those two disappointments aside, this bag fits in my summer handbag. The lining is very nice and the zip pocket on the outside is handy for a phone.
