I bought a few Eve accessories a while ago but didn't depend on them because they kept not being available in Homekit. Eva has a few other devices I'd like to try, but putting connection issues aside. I bought an extend to see if it would solve the problem. First Impressions - Quickly added to Homekit. The app then attempted to assign the two accessories I wanted to pair - Eve Motion and Eve Energy (both already up to date with the latest firmware). After some time, Eva's energy connected, but the movement failed. I disconnected, put new batteries in the Motion, and tried using the iPad instead of the phone again. It failed again and then I was asked if I would like to update the software on the Eve Extend. After updating the software, I tried assigning Motion again, and this time everything went smoothly. I tried to test both the Motion and the Energy a bit and the range seems great - tested the Energy about 70ft from the Extend, sideways and out - worked flawlessly. Same with the move, placed them in the basement, one level down and on the opposite side of the house from the extension; not missed again.
