Review on CollarDirect Cat Collar Breakaway Set: Tribal Pattern Aztec Design, 2 PCS, Adjustable Pet Safety Kitten Collar with Bell by Jill Parrott

I bought these for my Miniature Poodle when he was about 2-3 months old. She was tiny and got kicked all the time (I have a large family) so I needed a collar with a bell around the house and out. I was having trouble finding collars for small puppies, my groomer suggested collars for kittens because they are smaller. Overall, I liked the colors and patterns of these collars. Unfortunately they are not intended for puppies/dogs. The first time the collar broke my dog ran outside. I yelled at her and she thought I was playing a game with her and ran away from me. I was hoping that maybe I just didn't fasten the collar properly. A week later it all happened again. I had to run to the middle of the road and stop 5 oncoming cars. Fortunately, my neighbors were very nice and understanding. But now the collar tears at the slightest tension. I can't tell how these collars work on a cat but they are not for puppies. I still gave these collars 3 stars because it's my fault - I should have read more about breakaway collars.
