Review on UTUO Variable Exhaust Adjustable Centrifugal by David Lesperance

I bought this fan to cool the generator in the engine room on my sailboat! The compact form factor was important to me and it fit perfectly in the small space I needed for the installation. It moves a lot of air - about 45 cfm, which might not sound like much, but it's actually quite a lot and it does its job fairly quietly, unlike some other fans I've researched that sounded bigger than jet engines. Before installing this fan, my alternator was getting hot. up to >400F! Now it barely goes above 280F and all I did was put that fan about 20 inches behind it. If you need to cool something and don't want a lot of noise, this fan is a very good choice.
