I quilt for many hours every day and end up using my old Olfa mat that I have had for over 20 years. It's time for a new one. After reading many reviews I was willing to pay almost double for what was supposed to be "twist resistant", odorless and oh such an excellent rug! Arrived today, packed in a box. Was it delivered disassembled according to the instructions? No it was not! It now has two folds as it was bent to fit the shipping carton. He seems very stiff and after 30 minutes he is still not at home. I was about to unwrap it and cut the fabric! I don't have the time or tools to "smooth it out" on the fly. It doesn't smell, that's why I give 2 stars. As for the other performance, unfortunately I'll never know because I'm sending it back. Instead I have to buy it so I can use it right away. Oh, I'll smell it in the store to make sure it doesn't stink. I should have ordered another Olfa rug!
