At first my parrot was not interested in the tent. After a while she started sitting on top of him and hanging off the side (I know she's weird). Although she sits in him from time to time, she prefers to sit on him. It's bigger than I thought so I don't think it has the warmth I was hoping for. In general, she likes it, and that's the main thing. The straps are not very thick and can be chewed, but will withstand a small bird.
