This is amazing! First off, I had no idea things like this existed until my craft friend told me that she sometimes uses glue sticks instead of holding the fabric together. Pins, as any sewer knows, are a big problem. It takes forever and is a nuisance to insert and remove pins while sewing. Instead I started using this glue to hold fabrics together and it changed my life. I only started quilting about a year ago and am still a beginner. I tend to make mistakes just basting fabric, which I know some experienced quilters do. But like I said, I don't like pins. So this is a great solution. The glue is tacky enough to hold the fabric in place (at least when quilting cotton) if you're making a quilt block or whatever, and then it just rinses off when you wash the quilt. I don't know if this will work with heavier fabrics or something with a heavy texture. Would recommend to anyone doing piece work, quilting or sewing.
