***Upgrade with purchase**** I like the nylon sheath but the cables themselves stop working after a short while. Of the 5 in this pack, only the 3 feet still work. I use one in my car and the other for my iPad. The ones we used on our phones deteriorated pretty quickly. The 10ft died first and he died a week later, the next 6ft took a little longer before he died and now I'm on the last and he's spirited. And it's not my phone because it does the same thing on 3 devices. Instead of charging, it discharges them. I break cords all the time so we took them to see if they would be more durable. So far, so good. While I haven't really thought about how short 3ft actually is, I don't really need that length. I'm currently using it in the car and it works, but it doesn't work anywhere else.
