As much as I love my PortaPros, I never realized how uncomfortable the pads were until they started to loosen. It was only then that I realized how thin they are and why these temple pads are so important to people. I laughed a bit at first at the price but after putting it on it was worth it. People are right, the soundstage is wider, the bass feels a little clearer, the highs are less raspy but not muffled. I think the density of the material plays a big role. Plus, it's REALLY handy! They are MUCH larger than the original pads and much thicker and feel much better in my ears for a longer period of time. Call me sold! Definitely encourage others to get them.
