Dogs love it and no programming required
I am currently using the 3rd because my 1 year old shepherd destroyed the other two. But for the price I'm not mad. I'll buy a few more just in case, although I hope I don't forget to put the remote back away when not in use. At first I was concerned when I didn't see the instructions or the code list BUT. not necessary. I put the batteries in and the remote worked right away on my Insignia TV.
