Review on Game console Sony PlayStation 4 Pro 1000 GB HDD, The Last of Us Part II Limited Edition by Jnis Krsli ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

I bought it primarily not for 4K, but with a reserve for the future and VR, and if you are interested in 4K, it is better to wait for the next generation or build a PC for this, which will be very expensive and unlikely to be worth it. So far, 4K gaming is barely developing. Here it will be rather just a nice addition. But, if you have a 4K/HDR TV and/or PS VR, this is the must-have console for you. And even on a 1080p TV, you'll at least get higher frame rates and better graphics in the future.

Pros
  • A very powerful hardware for a price of 24,000 (at the time of purchase (without growth)). 4K - not native, but not just stretching either, but chess rendering (not upscaled even once - works differently) that still looks good. HDR complements the picture perfectly - games look great on a good 4K + HDR TV. Game patches that improve graphics. Even for unpatched ones, you can raise the frame rate - for example, in the single Killzone Shadow Fall we get almost stable 60 frames. More powerful hardware = better graphics in the future, higher framerates, and a much better picture in VR. The hard drive immediately goes to 1TB - and for good reason, 500GB is no longer enough. Gamepad - in my opinion the best at the moment, not counting the Xbox Elite. The PS4 Pro/Slim one is slightly ated compared to the usual one - the backlight from the panel is also visible on the touchpad, the color scheme has changed a little and the ons are tighter, everything is matte. It can also run entirely over USB, which can reduce latency for games where it counts. Of the smaller advantages - the ons have become physical, a USB port has appeared on the rear panel. Well, actually all the standard advantages of PS4.
Cons
  • All the same uncomfortable headset for one ear included. The gamepad does not hold a charge for a very long time compared to the previous one from PS3, but with regular recharging it does not interfere - there is no feeling that you have not played enough, but it is already discharged. The console is very quiet, but in patched games, sometimes the fan accelerates and is well audible, although it is still quieter than the . The speed is reset quickly - not particularly critical. Game developers aren't particularly keen on ating games for the Pro, but the arrival of the Xbox One X should give them a boost. The standard minus of consoles in 2022 is expensive. In other countries, it's easier - AAA games cost the same $/€60 on PC and consoles, while we have a twofold difference. But second-hand disks and services for renting games will come to the rescue.
