These single-sided Scotch laminating pouches are "just what the doctor ordered"! I hate to admit it, but every April I copy my friend's new mahjong deck. If I leave it as it comes out of the copier, even such a tiny water stain would spoil the copy. The ink would be smeared all over the body. These laminating pouches are the perfect solution! I only laminate the top of the paper and it becomes impermeable to water, coffee and even greasy wet fingertips will not smear the print. I also have laminated business cards, a Medicare card, and lots of photos. These sheets work perfectly on all! The backing paper has a grid that makes it easy to keep lines straight. Simply trim to size leaving a 1/4 inch border on each side of the card or photo, remove the backing and place onto the card or photo, making sure to press the laminating film evenly against it. Yes, sometimes I get air bubbles, but most of the time the sheets fit perfectly. I've been using them for years and just replaced my first box! The laminate itself is thick enough to protect but thin enough not to be bulky. I am very happy with my purchase of these single sided Scotch laminating sheets and would highly recommend them. ************************** Update 04/05/18: Damn! I have just reopened the package and found that four of the six remaining laminate sheets do not have a removable top strip! I don't get any support either. I'm so disappointed as the first few sheets were perfect. There must be a manufacturing defect and now it's too late to do anything other than buy a new pack. I just want you all to know: Check EVERY sheet when you receive your package!
