Hoover does not sell replacement filters. The original two-stage filter. The first foam stage is easy to wash off. The second stage consists of paper in a plastic frame and completely clogs over time. Even if another sweeper is used to clean the paper filter and a sharp tool is used to unclog the paper filter, the paper filter cannot be completely cleaned. I asked and Hoover is not interested in selling replacement filters. I regret buying this vacuum cleaner.
