If you need to tie any knots buy this, it's worth it.

I work as a steelworker and originally bought these to have on the job one for easy knotting when needed and others for fishing, boating and outdoor use. Obviously due to the nature of my job, I am very strict with everything I take with me. I deal with extreme heat, molten metal spatter, not to mention chemicals of every kind, especially acids, dirt, soot, coal and coke air, and a host of other dangerous problems. But despite all that, these hearty little cards just fail and keep on working. It's made of heavy plastic and each individual card, which has a front and back, is approximately 1 inch thick. They are also riveted together, providing a strong and secure hold that eliminates unnecessary movement and wobble, but still allows for easy card shifting/switching. Not to mention the incredible number of knots they've tied on these maps and the amazing versatility of their uses. Keep in mind that just because the cards talk about climbing knots, for example, doesn't mean that those knots can only be used for climbing, although there are knots in every "deck" that are designed for specific tasks, but most of them can be use for thousands of different applications. If you do a lot I recommend just buying the pack, trust me you won't be disappointed. I took the risk of buying them all in one big multipack, but I'm very glad I did. I really like these cards, they are definitely worth the money.
