More decorative than useful
Putting the two pieces together was a pain. What I didn't realize at first was loosening the screw at the bottom of the branch and then trying to line it up straight and square on the shell . If it's not exactly right, it leans. Also, I expected the branches to be steered more than 360 degrees. You get branches going left and branches going right. I don't have a lot of jewelry that I use often and it's cute for decoration. I'm keeping it but I'm disappointed with what I got.
