I purchased the XELFLY Submersipack last week for canoeing and wade fishing. Two days ago, while canoeing, my canoe tipped in rapids and became completely submerged and pinned against a log. All of my fishing tackle was in the XELFLY pack which was also submerged while clipped inside the canoe. I could see the pack bobbing around underwater for two minutes. After refloating my canoe and retrieving all my gear, I opened the XELFLY pack and was very surprised that it was "bone dry" inside considering the force of water pushing against it. There were not a lot of other options for a waterproof backpack that will hold 4 full-sized trays of fishing lures as well as other gear so in this case, it was money well spent. I gave the XELFLY an overall rating of 4 out of 5 because the finger pull loop on the main compartment zipper is way too small. I can only fit my pinkie finger through it. I fixed this by tying on a larger pull loop of small diameter rope. The stationary counter-pull tabs are also too small considering the amount of force it requires to get the zipper started. Waxing the zipper helps greatly to ease opening and closing. Very satisfied with this product! It will get a lot of hard use.
