Purchased these shorts with the intention of using them as an everyday pair of shorts. Quality wise these are nice, they do run a tad big at the waist, but it’s manageable. My biggest con with these shorts is the Velcro fly. I recently wore these out to run some errands in and realized while I was out how problematic the Velcro fly is. I was standing in line at a Starbucks that was moving ever so slowly. As I was standing in line I felt an itch on my stomach. I lifted my shirt to scratch my stomach only to see that the velcro fly had slightly began to tear open. I put my shirt back down and decided to leave the velcro as is as I was worried that If I start messing with it I could end up potentially embarrassing myself with my underwear in full view of everyone at Starbucks. As I stepped forward in the very slowly moving line, I felt the velcro pull again and now my shorts were ever so slowly siding down on me. I again decided to not mess with the velcro because I was worried that it may not attach together easily. As I stepped forward again in the line shorts continued to slip further down on me causing my blue and green boxers to slightly be seen. Next thing I know I am bending down to re tie my shoes and the entire velcro would rip open and my shorts nearly falling around my ankles. I quickly grab the shorts and attempt to secure the velcro only for it to rip back open seconds later. Now freaking out as I am getting close to the front of this slow moving line and I can't get the velcro to stick. Finally right as I am getting up the counter I get the velcro to stick not realizing that my boxers are still in full view. I place the order and as I am walking away the velcro would rip open again exposing me in my underwear for the third time.So again I would spend around 5 minutes dealing with this velcro and finally would get it secured.I have decided to keep the shorts but will only use them as an emergency pair of shorts
