I've been using a Dell WD19 dock at work for a few weeks and it's a very good dock. I have WD15 at home and it works fine too, but I prefer WD19. My work laptop is a very well loaded Latitude 5500. I've been using 3 external monitors, usually with a desktop PC, for about 10 years. I've found that the WD19 can "technically" drive 3 monitors, but one display has poor resolution (so bad it's unusable). I researched this issue and found that it wasn't WD19's fault, but rather a limitation of USB-C connectivity. I ended up with a pluggable USB to HDMI adapter (https://www.amazon). .com/gp/product/B004AIJE9G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to get around this limitation, so now I have a laptop display + 2 external monitors controlled by WD19 + 1 external monitor, which is controlled by a plug-in USB adapter. . Overall I'm happy with it. If I had to do it again I would definitely order a laptop with Thunderbolt as these machines seem to be capable of driving 3 external monitors with Thunderbolt version WD19 i.e. WD19TB. So if you're gaming with 1 or 2 external displays, the WD19 is a great solution. If you need more, you have to get creative. (To keep the WD19 safe I attached it to a piece of wood I hung under my desk - photo attached.) Hope this helps!
