I use this in church. The receiver is behind a concrete wall. No falls in a year. The sound quality is good. I haven't used them as solos, but whenever someone on the worship team can solo them, they sound good. I really like that the case is simple with no displays or shards to break. A dedicated frequency is also another potential problem that has been avoided. The power is summed up and, unlike other models, the volume control works. Sounds ok with a flat EQ. I installed one of these modules in my church and am in the process of purchasing another for my travel kit. There are other cheap devices out there, but they all have drawbacks. In my price range, I award the top mark here. I brought another unit for sale that sounded better but the receiver just cuts out. It has a hard switch that stays on. It is difficult. Short antennas do not get tangled. The sound performance is pretty good. The processing quality is rated as excellent. So I will buy more of these. I rate the sound better than the PG48, but not as good as the SM58. Everything I've tried sounded better, cost twice as much, and was generally much more fragile. This longevity thing is huge. Buy the pastor's wife an expensive microphone. Everyone else gives them one of these. I'll update to see if the frequencies overlap. I have priest mics in my church that cost more than twice as much as these. They don't sound that good, but they sound good enough and are more durable.
