I bought two of these for my wife and I so we can understand UK TV shows. Our old Sony televisions broke after fifteen years. And Sony doesn't make them anymore. At least not the ones we like. So we bought these. Work. I don't know if the noise cancellation works or not, I can't tell. The volume controls are handy and we got used to them pretty quickly. A set fits perfectly in its stand and charges. The other requires fumbling to drop into the charging slot. We're keeping them even though they're not as good as the Sonys they replaced.
