Review on CheckOutStore Record Sleeves Records Polylined by James Crofton

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Decent sleeves with poor quality control.

Update: 08/28/17 I've used about half the bushings I received. I have found that some of these cases have serious quality control issues. About 15 of the 50 (30%!) cases I used didn't have a PE liner covering the adhesive strip that was supposed to hold the PE liner in place. For this reason, there is an adhesive strip along the entire inside of the case, in the upper part. Not only does this glue the cover together, it also sticks to your record when you open the cover and put a record inside. For this reason, I will not be buying these cases again, nor can I recommend them. I'm giving two stars because properly constructed sleeves work well. Original Review: I used polyester-lined inner sleeves from Mofi, Sleeve City, VinylStyl, and several generic brands for reference. I was concerned that these sleeves might be too small based on other reviews. I haven't found any entries that don't match. I've used a lot of vintage records and a few new 180g records and they all fit. Some can be very tight but they all fit. I was also impressed with the polyester lining in these sleeves. It covers the entire inside of the sleeve. I glued several lined sleeves with a square of plastic on each side. The polyliner thus encloses the entire record. I would give this 5 stars if they were something more. They're almost perfect, but not quite. But for the price, you absolutely can't beat them!
