#1 and #2 have the same ingredients!

WARNING: If you are looking for a counterfeit Olaplex, this is not it. The ingredients in #1 and #2 are exactly the same, in the same order, except for one ingredient. So these are 2 bottles of the same product. The consistency is similar to Conditioner #1, unlike Olaplex or even Redken PH Bonder which work in a similar way. Also if you follow the instructions you will not be able to measure out the required amount without the right measuring tool as it only has a regular pump. I have a digital scale so it's not a problem for me, but for the home consumer it's a problem. I used it once, honestly I will never use it again. Having seen it personally and the ingredients, I do not trust adding it to a bleach or dye solution. You don't know how it changes the formula or what exactly it does to your hair. If it were made by a more reputable company in the professional hairdressing industry I would think differently. I had never heard of who made this product, nor had any of my beautician friends or colleagues heard of it. I have never seen it in salons or beauty shops. (This does not mean I have heard of all of them) I do not trust or believe this product or any of its claims. As a beautician, I use Olaplex religiously. I was looking for something similar but more economical, but I should have listened to instinct and knowledge, not reviews. In the salon, Olaplex is not as expensive as it seems, it pays for itself many times over, but for home use it is more difficult for the consumer to obtain and it is expensive, so I see those who buy it as a scam. Because I love doing my homework and know exactly what I'm using, I'll research all the ingredients and their uses to see if it does what it says on the tin. I understand the positive reviews as your hair may feel softer but I do not recommend this product. Professional coloring should be done in a salon by a professional, especially if you use dietary supplements. If you wish to process/colour your hair at home, please do your research first, follow the manufacturer's instructions and do an allergy test. UPDATE: It contains various silicones that when mixed with dyes or bleach actually seal the hair shaft. prevent the product from penetrating properly. Again, I wouldn't mix this with your color or brightener. Silicones make hair slippery, so the good reviews make more sense now because after use, hair feels like you just put a mask on. But if you choose to do this, I would use it as a standalone product after processing or coloring. I would go for a quality hair mask instead, it's better for your wallet and your hair and has the same/similar effect. Or if you try Olaplex, Redken Ph Bonder or even Fanola has a similar product that is more affordable. This is of course entirely up to you and what you want (or don't want) to use or apply to your hair. This is just my personal opinion.
