I just couldn't get this thing installed on my iPad the first time. No matter what I tried, there were a lot of annoying bubbles. I carefully followed the instructions but to no avail. I emailed the company and they kindly sent me another set of screens. I was luckier this time. There are still two bubbles on my screen and I guess I'll learn to live with them. (I've never understood how the "frame" is supposed to work, and that might be the problem.) However, when the iPad is on, you don't notice any bubbles. And the screen protector is completely transparent and I'm sure it will protect my screen. Addendum: I tried again and, oh my, the protective film stuck perfectly with no bubbles. How did this happen? No idea. It just suddenly worked. So make sure you get rid of the dust particles and try again.
