This is a sample centering gauge. The gauge is constructed of durable clear Plexiglas approximately 1/16 inch thick. It measures 6 x 8 inches with inch markings on both sides (0-5 inches) and in the center (0-4 inches either way). It has a cutout in the middle for a neckline. I find this gauge very handy for making custom iron-on or vinyl t-shirts. That saves me the guesswork. It can be very frustrating to have a good shirt with a good design and ruin it all by having the design a little off center, too low or too high. Before I got this gauge, I spent a very long time trying to line up my designs correctly using a ruler and an eye. With this caliber, work on the layout is faster and with fewer errors. All in all, this is a great tool for those who like to customize shirts.
