They break best in radio antennas
They are brittle in some places. I cut them in half to use on my ATV. I ended up saying screw on the rubber tips, they won't last more than a flight or two. I've applied plasti dip twice to each 3/4" thick end piece and it works and looks great. Also, this plastic dip from a home store is about $7 and you can dip a ton of crap.
- Usually the receiver antenna is soft and brittle, with protective tube you don't have to worry about the propeller can shear the antenna
