I always buy regular toner cartridges because they are a lot cheaper and always as good as big brands, but sometimes you have to 'trick' the printer into accepting the cartridge by using entering codes, pressing reset sequences, or allowing the pup to lick the paper tray. I don't have a puppy and the neighbor didn't lend me hers so I was a bit nervous about installing the first of the three puppies in the box. Wow, I didn't need a spell, a drooling dog, and holding down the cancel button for 3 seconds while holding the "don't cancel" button for 2.5 seconds. The cartridge just worked - excellent the first time - no rocket science required. The print quality was excellent and judging by the weight of the cartridge I think it will have a very high yield. Buy them and give the money you save to your real brother, not your Brother printer!
