I bought this shelf to place on my bedroom dresser to store and display my full size perfume collection. I love the mirror on the door and it helps protect my unwrapped perfumes and oils from the light. Gathering was very easy. There is a small tube of glue for wood pegs but use it sparingly as I ran out of the last 3 or 4 wood pegs and had to use some old wood glue I happened to have laying around. The adjustable shelf inside feels a bit flimsy and moves a bit, but feels perfectly solid when you place items on it. So it's not really a complaint, just an observation. I was concerned that I would have to somehow attach the cabinet to the wall (I rent and it doesn't happen!) but I just placed it as close to the wall as possible and put double sided tape on the underside of the cabinet in front of the cabinet. It feels very sturdy and I don't need to mount it to the wall, but note that most of the bottom is actually on top of my dresser, only hanging down about a half inch from the back edge. So the fact that it's standing on a flat surface obviously contributes to its stability. There is plenty of room inside and the lower bottom compartments are large enough to hold some of my larger perfume boxes. The top of the cabinet is nice and wide for more storage space. I'm just really happy with this closet for the price. Even the case back feels solid. This is more of a thin sheet of MDF, not cardboard. Not easy to bend. And it fits perfectly in the room. When renting small spaces you need to get creative and this closet was the perfect solution to my needs.
