You can spread them out evenly in a theater or auditorium hammock, but when I clean up I just toss them in (but don't tell your kids I'm doing this). The chain can be hung vertically from the ceiling or horizontally on the wall, whichever I chose. I've even hung them on hooks and slanted nails for picture hanging and they've held up very well. I first ordered two of these sets hoping not to be too disappointed. I was more than pleasantly surprised. They work great and I will be ordering more. To give you an idea, the hammock alone holds nearly thirty gallon garbage bags of these things, assuming you don't mind just tossing them in to free up floor space.
