As a relatively new Raspberry Pi user, I was impressed with the setup instructions in the manual. It begins by explaining the differences between Rasp Pi boards, what cables or adapters are needed, and how to set up and install software. I learned how to connect to my Rasp Pi using Remote Desktop, PuTTY and VNC Viewer instead of using a separate monitor, mouse and keyboard like before. As a side note, I chose the RasPi 3B for this project as it is cheaper than the 4B model and uses less power. Opening the tutorial in a window on my laptop. and my Rasp Pi's Remote Desktop (VNC) view in another, I was able to quickly copy and paste the commands from the tutorial into a command prompt window. As for the hardware, the most tedious part was removing the protective coating from each of the acrylic pieces. Bolts and nuts were in separate bags with markings, making them easier to find. The acrylic parts weren't marked, but matching it to the photos in the tutorial wasn't a big deal. I appreciate there were some acrylic spares as well as extra nuts and bolts. I thought the instructions were easy to follow, but at times I found that only one or two fasteners were shown when four might be needed for that particular part. Furnished. The photos helped a lot, especially with correctly assembling the servos. I overlooked minor translation errors from Chinese into English because I knew what the text was trying to convey. Overall I was quite impressed with my new robotic cat. I was expecting it to take a lot longer to build based on other reviews I've read. Maybe it's because I have a lot of experience deciphering well-meaning Air Force technical commands. Ha! Finally, my experience of using my magnetic screwdriver, tweezers, needle nose pliers, and bench vise is much more comfortable.
