They write that it works, but it is not. Unfortunately, this is one of those things that is so expensive to send back and you could donate it to charity. Another tip: if your tile floors are old enough and the protective top coat is gone, just use a carpet cleaner! I have NEVER had floors that clean! In the end I was very glad the tool didn't work because I was so obsessed with tile cleaning that I never would have thought of this solution. In that respect it's worth it.
