Review on OZ-USA LED Light Motorhome T8 T5 12" 18" RV Travel Trailer Fluorescent Replacement by Christopher Gotcher

Very bright, this kit (two LED strips in each kit) fits in place of a standard light bulb. It was disappointing at first, but those two tiny stripes are a lot brighter than the standard two bulbs, and that was a big plus. Installation instructions were not included with the kit, so I'll give you a little guide here. For lights with built in switches just pull the plus 12 volts from the input to the normal switch in the light (mine had to be cut off right in front of the circuit board) and then loosen the ground where it enters the light and then connect the on LEDs for hanging positive and negative. For wall switches, disconnect both the positive and negative pins where they enter the fixture and connect the LEDs. For both styles, test the bulbs with a switch before soldering or splicing to check polarity. First I reconnected the wires and the light didn't work. I reversed the polarity and now they work fine. Using the supplied 3M double sided tape would be a mistake as these bulbs get very hot and the adhesive will peel off in less than an hour. I used Gorilla Crazy Glue on both sides of the tape and haven't had any issues since. I received it in November 2017 and installed it immediately. Then I went on a monthly hunt where it was used about six hours a day that month. Aside from the tape not sticking, they worked really well and I will install them individually (there are two lights in each set) in each of the regular RV lights. I only give three stars because of the lack of instructions and inferior double-sided tape. Additional efforts on my part result in a reduction in the number of stars. However, I find that LEDs are a great product in their own right and use a lot less power than traditional incandescent bulbs. Much luck.
