This jacket is incredibly warm and cozy. We have wet and snowy winters, which can vary in temperature from 40 to below zero. This jacket has performed in all of these temperatures and conditions. Bonus! It's just as warm as a down jacket with layers underneath (if you like wearing bulky sweaters or lots of layers I'd grit your teeth and order a size up, I usually have an M and I have an L and I like to have room to wear them something warm underneath) and it's not a bulky jacket whether you're wearing it to a coffee shop or hanging in your closet during the warmer months.
