It WORKS but beware buyers: If like me you have a smartphone in a protective case, it can be very difficult for you to reach the holder due to the diameter and depth of the tread. Mine barely made it. Also keep in mind that from the picture it looks like both arms can expand to accommodate huge phones, but only ONE arm adjusts to different sizes, not both. If you can get your phone to fit (most likely), this is the champ holding on to the vent. I missed a speed bump the size of a small mountain and while it nearly destroyed my suspension, this product didn't fail by dropping my phone or losing my grip on the vent. Would I buy it again? Yes. Would I recommend it. Yes. WHY: It's functional, cheap. The small size also makes it easy to store.
