Set really good value for money and very easy to use. The patch method didn't work on my tire because the nail was too close to the sidewall, about 1 inch or so. So the plug style is more suitable for it. It's on winter tires and I don't go crazy with it, so risk of sidewall rupture isn't an issue, and when I was a mechanic I didn't really see it. All in one set with everything you need. Pliers, dowel, reamer, dowel tool and grease. Also has simple instructions. This can be tricky and a little disconcerting the first time you do it when the sweep isn't coming in easily. This is because you have to push the reamer in with little force. After that, don't forget to drill the hole well so that the dowel can go in without damaging the tool. Also note the angle at which the nail entered the tire and take this into account when unrolling and inserting the plug. I actually had a second nail closer to the center of the tread so this kit pays for itself with a tire plug and saves you money every time. This tire plug kit and air compressor will always be in my car for road trips. You never know when you'll hit a nail.
