It did not work.
I bought this adapter to convert my TV's optical audio output to a sound system with analog RCA inputs. All I could hear was the sound of a "powerboat chugging". Checks if the TV is set to digital audio output. Tried different optical and cinch cables. Vain. I bought a Prozor converter and it worked the first time I plugged it in.
