When I first tried these on, I actually didn't like them very much, I think just because they were so different than any water does that I was used to. They seemed a little floppy and thin, and the bottom material was honestly a little uncomfortable on my feet. BUT I needed water shoes the next day, so I kept them and wore them. I loved them! They were extremely comfortable, absolutely no rocks got through the fabric and it didn't feel like any sand did either, the soles had good traction and they were not too thin as I had expected.
