(I'm 3hp at an elite club in the south west. Real review. End user) Very disappointed with the accuracy of the data, especially for average rider irons. Just retired and our top pro compared the Mevo to a Foresight Sports GC Quad ($18,000 starting monitor) in an open field with ProV1 balls. It was a real test with dozens of shots. Both the pro and I hit the ball. My club head speed with driver is 100-104. He has 110-115. We put metal dots on all Mevo recordings. We turned off and removed GC Quad when using Mevo to avoid interference. The setup was perfect when we measured the distance behind the ball. The app was set up perfectly (we even tried tweaking things and it didn't matter - elevation, ball distance, etc.). RESULTS: Mevo was consistently 15-20 yards behind actual results. It spins all over the board and isn't accurate even with stickers and the right adjustment. The launch angle was incorrectly overestimated by 1-2 degrees. For a pro, his driver carry was 20-25 yards short of actual results. The same inconsistencies in rotation and launch. The 7 iron shot was a little more accurate but still had plenty of variation from 5-10 yards. In general, I'm upset. I figured it would be an affordable and most importantly accurate tool to work with my game. It's nice to see the result after each shot. But not knowing the data is wrong defeats the purpose. Will I hit iron 7 163 or 172? It's a big deal to be so far away. I would not recommend this product (and I rarely say that about a product).
